As for the 23 formula, you are also talking the Albemarle model before the jackshaft....

Here's my old Fleetcraft. Did pretty well but was a little light and liked to fly when you didn't want her to. This was my pre-SeaCraft ride..... no looking back for sure.

Looks are deceiving though..... look at the head on view. No comparison on why SeaCraft vdh hulls dominate over what looks good from some angles.

When I was looking for a Bahama capable boat (about 1996) that Fleetcraft was one of the hulls I thought might do the trick. Never found a good one for sale or knew anybody that had one. Thanks for the info.
Funny how much sharper she looks in the forward quarter shot. |
Heres a couple pics of my 24 seabird I just finished rebuilding a couple months ago. She's a pretty sweet ride, eats up some chop pretty good.

Welcome to Classic SeaCraft.com....
Just curious why you post a SeaBird on this site for your first post ? |
Lol
Thought the same thing...

Thanks for the welcome!
That's what I've got for right now, I'd love to rebuild a seacraft in the future but this is the first boat I ever tried my hand at. No prior boatbuilding experience and I rebuilt her from the bottom up, so I'm pretty proud of it. The title of the thread is "24 seabird" after all. |
