I would say $1100.00 using composite lumber or $700.00 using plywood. I am going plywood on mine.. 41 years is a good life for a transom!

my guestimate would be about $2,800, Our labor rate is 110 per hour,and we are the less expensive shipyards around here. cant do that job ,and have a happy customer,in 24 hours..
