I took an opportunity to drive through Chatham yesterday. I passed KernelTugboat's place and even stopped to introduce myself. Two Seacrafts in his drive way! Then I continued my drive down to 28 and turned left. Along route 28 I counted at least three more in driveways or parking lots. I drove through town and up to Chatham Light-no SeaCrafts seen. I then swung down through Stage Harbor and stopped to get out and take a brake -(I had driven from Newburyport, MA, about 130 miles.) While at Stage Harbor I saw at least six! I then drove out of town taking a completely different route and saw at least three more, either in driveways or on trailers going someplace.

That would put it that more than 10 in less than an hour in a town that has a winter population of less than 10,000. I would say that's quite a few Seacrafts for one town! I was on my way to South Yarmouth and believe I saw a couple more. Not a bad total in an hoour and twemty five minutes!

Mine is in the Oyster river in Chatham,if you checked all of the harbors you could easily find at least 40 in Chatham, and thats in the water, many more on trailers!

Not to dig up an old thread, but spotted this 23 from MA this afternoon
while heading south down I-95 30 miles north of Daytona..

I tried to call the cell number on the back, it went to voice mail.
Also beeped and waved, thinking he would see the SeaCraft decal
on my back window.. :)

Boat name "Out Cast"

Nice looking rig.

Got to love a Town with more registered boats than residents ;)

Dana at Millway Marine in Bahhhhnnnstable was also a dealer back in the day.
Also one of the first Ocean Smasher dealers.

I live in a small town- township there are 3 Potters and one Tracker within 1/4 of a mile .expand that to 3 mile circle and there are a total of 12 that I know of. most are up for the winter in driveways ,and are docked local in summer....the original dealer for the area was Capt Andy in Margate NJ..he sold 20 & 23 Potters right around 1970.I had a 20 69-70 vintage ..yellow & red hulls were popular here or that is what the dealer had.

Carribean is the graveyard of the Makos and Cape/south coast is the graveyard of the SeaCrafts.

If Cape Cod were a state it would have to be #1. Live in Brewster and have a 26 that I run and an 18 for a future project. Always 5 or 10 other Seacrafts fishing within sight on busy days.

Seven off the top of my Head on Hilton Head. One MIA 23 Sceptre that I am aware of too just can't lay eyes on it.
