The freeboard is all done.... What a job! Wet sanded the entire freeboard with 220, 400,600,800,100 then 1500. Then I applied the 3M imperial rubbing compound and then the 3M finesse. Next is the bottom coat. What color should I go with? Black or Blue?

It looks like the PO put bottom paint right up to the I/O? I am told (and read) that there should be a minimum 1.5" gap to help limit I/O corrosion. So you might want to mask that gap when you repaint?

It's finally done.. I couldn't be happier with the results... For a 42 year old boat, it looks like new..if not better..
