I haven't gotten an chance to find out what it is yet, but at first glance riding buy it I thought it looked like an pieced together piece of junk myself but apond further inspection it appeared to be possible a production made mule type vehicle from the 60's like Fr Frank said. It did look like VW front wheels and hubs like daydreamer mentioned possibly, that hit me when I first saw it. If you look all the parts they look vantage to the same era pre to my birth. I was going to visit my grandmother and saw this down the road from here house sitting in the yard a few house down. I didn't get a chance to walk up to it or talk to the owner(s) but hope to be able to do so my next trip back. I will have to get some better pictures of the gearing section or powertrain. It is defiantly a junkie looking device at first glance but after checking it out further it is kinda neat the way it was engineered if you can call it that. It is a Mexican family that lives there so it may be something from Mexico possibly? I was thinking it could be an cart like used at airports to move luggage or a cart from an industrial facility. I figured some of yall old farts would recognize it possibly. I will ask the owners about it if they can speak English and find out more and report back.
