I'm in no rush just let me know when your thinking of cutting them out and maybe I can give you a hand.

Thanks Matt

Have you considered converting it to a Savage configuration? Much less work since the cap and inner liner are basically the same as a Sceptre. Would give you much more dry storage than you'd have in a CC. Although some would argue that the Savage incorporates the worst features of both the Sceptre and CC ! (Inconvenient bow access, lack of room in cockpit due space taken up by CC.)

I just need the glovebox door and framing. On the cabin hatch I need the one from the cockpit in to the cabin. My glovebox is covered up with a piece of wood at the moment and I'm using a piece of vinyl to cover the cabin access. I don't need the door. I just got a new one from 77SceptreOB.
Sorry, but I think we're going to be 0 for 2 on those. My glovebox door is a piece of acrylic that slides in and out of place - I don't think it's the stock setup. My cabin hatch is a pretty poorly pieced together starboard assembly that doesn't work very well.

CJg8r - The seatboxes are yours for the taking. I'll let you know when I'm getting close to tearing it down.

Bushwacker - I've thought about the Savage conversion, but the limited bow access is one of the main things I don't like about the Sceptre. 90% of my use is freedive spearfishing, and we might change spots 15-20 times a day. We also don't typically have good visibility, so an anchored boat gives a point of reference to keep on our spots.

Matt, typically, where do you harass the Pescado population?

I think I have one.... Let me look around.

Terry, I'm mostly just south of the shipping channel.

I'll take the livewell. Let me know when you have it out, I'll come get it.

OK, so after a few years of running the boat and watching the motor bounce more and more on the rotten transom, I'm finally digging into the boat for the rebuild. The plan for the boat is basically the same, scrapping everything above the stringers.

At this point, I'm ready to rebuild and just going to get rid of everything - mostly free for the taking, except:

Radar arch and Bimini - $200
Full set of vinyl, blue cabin cushions in good shape - $20
Seagate with hinges - $20

Consider those "no haggle, if it's worth that to you to come pick it up, it's yours" pricing. If it's not worth that to you, it's worth that to me. :D

Stuff people might be able to use for their boats that is FREE (and I'd prefer to not have to ship or deliver or meet you somewhere, but might if there's a good enough sob-story):

Hynautic steering system - the steering ram leaks, but everything else is functional. I'm assuming this was original to the boat. The pump and helm are in good condition, as well as the fittings if that can be of help to anyone.

Windshield - it's original but everything on it is functional

Cap - getting rid of it, so if you need the whole thing or parts of it, I can creatively cut it up for your use. (I've already tossed the rubrail, it wasn't worth saving).

Liner - same deal as the cap

Fuel hatch and livewell - the fuel hatch and small fuel access hatch have both been recored and in good shape. The livewell is original but doesn't flex.

Cabin hatch - the glass hatch on the cabin is in decent shape

Any other parts that you might need, let me know and I'll let you know if they're worth taking. I am saving most of the hardware that can be reused for the new build - cleats, rod holders, fuel fill, etc.
