I have $22k value, $300k liability with the other usual medical, personal, uninsured, trailer, towing and pollution for $446/yr. on my SeaCraft. Both my boats are $727/year. $1500 is crazy talk!!

Thanks! They didn't give any issue with the boat age? That was boatUS excuse.

Actually I had Progressive for years, they are owned by a way to far "left" owner for me and I dropped them. I had the Charter Lakes coverage match their's for about $100 less. They had no problem with the 1978 "classic" agreed value of $22k. Another reason I told BoatUS to pound sand.

I have boatus agreed hull value 20k with 2k trailer, $500 deductible, and it cost me $512 for the year. 1973 23 hull with 2016 merc 150.

I have a BOAT US (now Geico) policy with agreed upon value of $46k, $3k trailer, $300k liability and $460 deductible for $650.

Considering the amount of blood, sweat & money I have into this 27 Tournament, I felt this was the best coverage I could negotiate.

Those prices don't happen here in South Florida

Friend of ours did maritime law before he retired I asked him what insurance he used for his sailboat and he came back with boat US figured if anybody would know about claims it would be him
