i had a similar issue when i had the 74 sceptre, i took one side of a motor ear muff hooked up to the hose and put it over each deck drain thru from the underside of the boat... and sure enough one side allowed water entry. i ended up re doing them with a heavier duty compression fitting. problem solved.

I had or have a similar if not the same problem on my port side. If I put a compression fit drain plug in from underneath the boat it takes on no water. Not the hijack the thread but could you give me a little more information regarding what you're talking about for a compression fitting, please? I'm looking for a better solution. |
