Bigshrimpin, he thought he was going to be in the market for at least one, possibly 2 lenco actuators. Finding 4 splices/butt connectors in 1ft of wire makes me cringe! Once we had rewired his boat, all his issues went away, both tabs worked and he was amazed at how quick and powerful they worked... I think they call for 14awg to the control unit and I ran a piece of 10awg as I had a scrape piece kicking about for the 4ft needed. My general rule of thumb is to always go up a guage of wire than what is calculated or called for i.e. if they require 16awg I will run 14awg.
