Yes Hermit you definitely are the one who sent me the lead on the motor it saved me in a big way at the time so thank you again. I'm sure you mentioned it before but where are you located? We definitely can work something out with my old motor if your interested.

Yes no kidding they are hard boats to beat, mine does far more than a 23 foot boat should do.

I'm in Chatham. Still runnng that gen motor and parts are becoming a bitch. Eventually I'll be doing what u are.

I have 300hp Etec G2 on 23’ WA. EXCELLENT wot 5900rpm 46 mph, 4800-40mpg 2.8mpg, 4000- 31mph 3.2mpg. Should probably add 1” pitch should improve cruise speed/mpg

Nice set-up. What's the normal redline on your motor? What mounting hole?
