Congrats to you! Maybe Mel too as it sounds. I'm sure you will find many projects and short trips to enjoy.

Congratulations Ken. I retired at 55 and since we were already into camping,we did more of that. Went from Florida to Alaska twice. In between camping trips, I worked on things that were neglected around the house and restored my car. Fast forward about 15 years or so and projects around the house take so much longer now.
I can tell you one thing , time seems to move on so much faster the older I get.

This was also a big driver in the decision. If I don’t have to deal with another weekend boat ramp it will be too soon. We are starting to look at some small homes with open water access. If we can’t find what we want we may opt for a canal lot we can have a lift on and find a nearby land locked house. We would consider building but I’m not doing the house on stilts thing.

I believe that Hernando Beach has gotten so ridiculous I’ve considered selling and heading north maybe as far as Cedar Key. Did you get my text about Opening Gags?

I think I did but I'm missing the first two weeks as we are traveling to Nashville to meet my year old grandson for the first time. I normally don't like to go on the first few weeks anyway as you might as well just post you spots on facebook for everyone to have. It will be worst than scallop season this year.
