Take a second on the seesaw here and I do mean seesaw.

You have to envision the later scupper design where the water
runs from the liner straight back through short hoses through the
transom scuppers.

Remove the short hoses.
Attach the longer hose to the transom mounted scupper Portside.
Run this hose to the the Starboard side liner barb.

Now think. Have another beer. Think some more.

So, you are standing in the corner Portside whilst wearing a pointy hat.

The scupper is underwater and the water rises in the hose.
The water stops at the height of the ocean and will not rise to the height
of the Starboard transom scupper which is far above the ocean whilst tilted.

I don't think crossing over the drain hoses will work on my boat. Both of the transom scuppers are 8 inch below the water surface and located close to the centerline of the boat - maybe 1 foot off either side.

I put the big raybuds on my 23 years ago...........work awesome. High and dry with dive tanks 135 gallons of fuel and 4 roast beef boys. You can't go wrong.

I doesn't appear you can use the Rabuds when utilizing the factory thru the bottom drains like on the 23' models. What is a good recommendation in that application? I am about 1/2" able to drain at rest with no one in the back corners of the boat.

Sandy I want my deck above the water scuppers straight out the back or side.. I’ll take the time to raise the deck or build flotation bracket if I have to to make the boat safe.

Mine go straight out but the factory deck got raised sometime in the early/mid eighties.

I have rabuds as well.

I've always wondered why you have to buy a Comm. boat to
get big honking scuppers.

I've taken some pretty bad waves over the years, going out the inlet. In particular many years ago, I remember one that decided to break as I came down the one in front. That wave came over the bow and hit the windshield hard. I took a quick look behind me before the next wave and there was at least six inches of water near the transom on the deck. By the time I cleared the waves at the inlet, the water had drained out. I had stainless flappers on the boat at the time and they eventually wore out. I have the rubber flappers now and I don't think I like them as much as the steel.
I wonder if the ball scuppers or crossing the hoses would drain the water as fast.
