Now this is a fuzzy pix's because I used your to small pix and blew it up to the proper size. If I had started with a larger pix. It wouldn't have done that, but at least we can tell a lot more of what's going on. http://www.classicmako.com/bobby/bracketon.jpg |
Re: Our 1979 23 Seacraft (more pics)
When Don send the pics they are all a different size. So i download his pics to our digital camera system (Camedia Master) so they are saved in are boat album. Then i download the on photbucket. I then have to go where is says EDIT above every picture and resize them by either 75% 50 or 25%. Then i right click each picture go to properties then copy the url, come back to this site click image in the instant ubb code box and click paste. I do this to every pic. What am i doing wrong? Re: Our 1979 23 Seacraft (more pics)
I have the Camedia Master 4.2 from my 1st olympus camera. I never use it. I had to go back and look at it a little. It has the stuff in it to resize your pix's.
The 2nd camera I bought another Olympus has PhotoBase 3 software on it. It's easy to use and you can dial the pix's in before uploading them. You say he send's you the pix's in all diffrent sizes. What sizes? They may already be the correct size. Check that by putting your curser in the middle of the pix. "Right" click the mouse and a box will drop down. put the curser on "Properties" and "Left" click. That will show you the size of the pix. If it's 640X480 leave it alone. Upload it to PhotoBucket and DON"T resize it with PhotoBucket. If it is to big you can resize it with the camera software, but That software to me tries to be to user friendly and it screws you up. But look in the "Help" section under resize image's. That should help you. Let me know what size pix's he send's you. |
Re: Our 1979 23 Seacraft (more pics)
Like i said every pic is a different size. But thinks for the info i will trying resizing them on the camedia program.

Re: Our 1979 23 Seacraft (more pics)
I figured out how to make the pic 35k but then it is 305*229
So it is really blury. What did i do wrong warthog? |
Re: Our 1979 23 Seacraft (more pics)

Make the pix's 90K and they will be aprox. 640X480 and fit most people's screen corectly. Most people keep the resoulition on their computer at 800X600. I don't know where you got it stuck in your head that the pix's must be 35K? |
Re: Our 1979 23 Seacraft (more pics)
Just send me a few pix's that they sent you via email.
warthog521@cox.net I will look at it more and see if I can help. |
Re: Our 1979 23 Seacraft (more pics)
Under the post on how to post your pics it says they should be 35k.

Re: Our 1979 23 Seacraft (more pics)
TEST
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...06/bracket.jpg This picture is 640*480 at 98k and it is still blurry. I emailed you a pic! |
Re: Our 1979 23 Seacraft (more pics)
Let me double check what I wrote. Maybe I made a mistake?
Once you make the pix's small they can not be made larger without it being blury. The 1st pix you sent me was 640X480 as he sent it to you. You would just upload it to PhotoBucket and leave it like that. No resizing. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...5/DSCN0768.jpg The 2nd pix was a little off, but it would still be fine to just upload it and leave it alone. He turned the camera sideway's when he took this pix. 360X480 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...5/DSCN0769.jpg Here I blew it up slightly. 480X640 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...g5/640X480.jpg |
Re: Our 1979 23 Seacraft (more pics)
Okay thank you, he just sent more pics i will start posting them exactly like he sent them right now.

Re: Our 1979 23 Seacraft (more pics)
Yes, I do see where Capt Chuck wrote

Maybe Capt Chuck can change that to 100K |
Re: Our 1979 23 Seacraft (more pics)
He sent us more pics of the boat almost completly done.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...almostdone.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...lmostdone2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...almostdone.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...almostdone.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...almostdone.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...almostdone.jpg Its hard to believe this is a 30 something year old boat! |
Re: Our 1979 23 Seacraft (more pics)
Here's how you may be able to fix the past pix's.
This is only if you still have the pix's he sent you as original. IE aprox. 640X480 [By the way that is the best size to send as attachment's on email's.] You will need to go to your Photobucket site and delete the pix's you have small and the reupload the pix's If you do them one at a time delete/upload the same pix. It should show on the website here just fine, except the pix's will be larger. IE the correct size. |
Re: Our 1979 23 Seacraft (more pics)
Warthog you are the man. When we get the boat back i will got back and start a whole new post in the general section with all the pics big. If i have them in the original size.

Some where in this area would be a good place to install a washdown system.
http://www.classicmako.com/bobby/ins...almostdone.jpg This is the one in my boat. http://www.thmarine.com/product.cfm?PRID=177 http://www.classicmako.com/projects/...es/Filler6.jpg http://www.classicmako.com/projects/...es/Filler8.jpg |
Re: Our 1979 23 Seacraft (more pics)
We are going to put a washdown system. But we are getting the boat back from Don almost how you see it. So we can you if for a while, so we know what we want to add where, or what we might want to change! So after we have it for a while we are going to take it back to him to have more added. Re: Our 1979 23 Seacraft (more pics)
Seamaster, is that a Sea Craft console or did you have it made? It looks good.
|
Re: Our 1979 23 Seacraft (more pics)
It is a SeaCraft console that we had Don make high so we could flush mount everything, for a clean look. Thanks for the comment!
|
Re: Our 1979 23 Seacraft
Very very nice. I wish I had done my transom that way.

Re: Our 1979 23 Seacraft
I have a full transom like yours I just wish that I had added the door. I toyed with the idea of adding the door but decided against it mainly because my little brain could not figure out how to do it right.
Your boat is beautiful. strick |
Re: Our 1979 23 Seacraft
Thanks for the comment. The main reason we wanted the door and transom is we dive alot down here. So we thought the door would just make it easier with your dive gear on.
P.S. Your boat is beautiful! |
Re: Our 1979 23 Seacraft
SeaMaster - The transom looks great!!!
Are they custom making the door or did they cut the opening to fit a pre-manf. door of some type? I will be rebuilding my transom and plan on closing her up.. I really like the way yours is set-up. One more question - did they use marine plywood to fab the storage area in the top of the enclosed transom? Thanks - |
Re: Our 1979 23 Seacraft
Nevermind - I answered my own question .... Thanks
|
Re: Our 1979 23 Seacraft
Sorry for not replying back right away. We are on vacation and i just got to a computer. The door was made by Don at HermCo to fit the transom and bracket he did for use. You can see a idea of how he does it on hermco.net

Re: Our 1979 23 Seacraft
We picked up the boat yesterday 8/7/05 on the way back from St.Augustine. When we reached Sawgrass Expressway, it rained, thunder, lighting, and blew until we got home. It was a miserable drive. We are taking the boat tomrrow morning to get the engines checked out at a Yamaha tech, and hope to have it in the water by the weekend. We cleaned it all up today after work/school. Don did an amazing job on the whole boat. It doesn't even feel like a 23 foot boat. You can see pictures here, http://hermco.net/gallery.htm untile we get some of it in the water, it is the first boat on his website.

Re: Our 1979 23 Seacraft
Your boat came out great!
I wish mine had spray rails. Please post performance numbers when you get them. I am curious to see how fast it will fun with twin 150s on that bracket. Maybe I'll see you out on the water this weekend. I am suppose to get some fiberglass work done on Saturday and will hopefully be out on Sunday. My boat can't be in the water until it gets patched. One of my clients had a little accident with the anchor. |
Re: Our 1979 23 Seacraft
I will be sure to let you know the performance #'s. Sorry about your boat, and hope to see you out on the water this weekend. Thanks for the comment.
