Re: Project Boat !!!!!
Looks like it was worth the extra effort. The details on that boat are awesome.
I also love the fact thats its diesel. |
Re: Project Boat !!!!!
OK...I dont need a cap...will build my own...HOW MUCH FOR A FULL TRANSOM SC20? HOW ABOUT IN EPOXY? CUSTOM COLOR GEL COAT?
I've wanted a DONZI 16/18 for a while but now I'm thinking a SC20 Splash like this with a deck, cockpit and J style seating powered by a 400-450 HP Small Block Chevy or Ford running a Volvo DupProp or Bravo II might be the ticket... So really...how much would a guy have to pay you for a splash? Would you lend/rent out the mold? Sell the mold? Capt Beach |
Re: Project Boat !!!!!
When this thread started the hull popped from the mold clearly was a standard hull for use with either OB or I/O power. Later on in the thread, the "first and only" hull popped from the mold is a diesel powered straight inboard with the pocket/tunnel common to SC inboard configurations.
I have heard of owners converting inboards to standard configurations, but not vice versa. I'd be interested in hearing more about how this was done and done so well. Just asking. |

Re: Project Boat !!!!!
Thanks Fr. Frank. I hadn't thought of that and it certainly makes sense.
The only questions in my mind that remain are; what was the process of creating the inboard hull confsiguration and is it the only 20' inboard hull in existance. I don't believe I have heard or read of any others. |
