Re: 1973 23 SEACRAFT TSUNAMI (RESTORED)

With new tires it would! It might be cheaper to ship boat n drive trailer up without boat on it.

Boy thats a nice boat for that money. I'm surprised its still around even with the economy the way it is. If i didn't have 3 SeaCrafts already i might have been interested :)

That seems like a good deal. Probably the time of the year is hurting interest. That is one NICE Tsunami/Sceptre! I hate that it's not selling to another SeaCraft fan.

I'm not too far from you (Amity Harbor)
Would like to check this out. Have the 20 Sceptre right and this would be a great upgrade

Re: 1973 23 SEACRAFT TSUNAMI (RESTORED)

PM SENT.....The boats in PERFECT condition and like I said I have receipts for everything if your from Amityville you must know Raybo thats who did all the work on boat. Engine is a work horse and runs perfectly, less than 400 hours and a perfect match for this boat. I use boat mainly to take family back and forth to hemlock cove and gilgo 12 minutes round trip....

I'm having a hard time that this boat has not sold yet. People must be really hurting these days to have to pass on such a great deal. Your boat is beautiful. What are you moving up to? The Tsunami is hard to beat as a general purpose family/fishing boat.

Re: 1973 23 SEACRAFT TSUNAMI (RESTORED)

Thanks Strick -I love this boat and kills me to sell .... I had only 1 guy come to actually physically look at the boat and he loved it but couldn't get another loan without selling the boat he has.... First person that sees the boat and rides in it i'm pretty positive will buy it. Everyone else just phone calls and emails saying its a 73 boat blah blah. It is a great family boat and i've yet to find anything with even close to the size of the cockpit this boat offers.
Im moving up to the 26 Regulator Express has a few more creature comforts for my wife and daughter but can still handle the slop. Hopefully the Tsunami goes to someone who appreciates the boat and knows what it means to be at the helm of a SeaCraft.

Re: 1973 23 SEACRAFT TSUNAMI (RESTORED)

I wonder if I have seen your Regulator. I live 1/2 mile from the plant and drool everytime one goes by. They seem to be doing well given the number of boats I see leaving.

Re: 1973 23 SEACRAFT TSUNAMI (RESTORED)

Ditto what Stick said.
I have copied and pasted this link to several friends who fish the Great lakes as I do.They are looking for boats.
I've pretty much told them if they don't buy it they're nuts. They've ridden on my 74 Tsunami and can't believe how it handles the nasty steep stuff on the Great lakes.

I'm also trying to talk my son into taking a look at it.He lives in Sayville LI.But they just had a baby so his priorities are in another place.I told him we could split the cost, and this way we could have two restored Tsunamis one in fresh and one in salt. What more could a fisherman want?

I'll keep passing this along to those I know that are looking for such a beautiful 23 footer.Good luck with the sale.

Re: 1973 23 SEACRAFT TSUNAMI (RESTORED)

Thanks I appreciate it! if i didn't borrow money for restore Id probably keep the SeaCraft and the New boat but its just to much right now I too have an 18 month old and growing family. My Dad was a SeaCraft nut growing up and he passed the gene to me thats why I got the Tsunami its the perfect Family/Fishing boat with room for a Square dance in the cockpit.
