Thank you Rusty. I actually only control a small portion of the LLC, but I'm the one with the tool belt - so most the time the others are good with whatever I need. I consider myself very fortunate to have access to this little piece of what I consider paradise. I would be happy to share it with the CSC group, as a base of operations, for a Charlotte Harbor Gathering, if there is ever a consensus to do that someday. As Conner point out, there are additional longistics involved with that location.
I don't have a dog in this hunt though; Ft. Desoto is an excellent choice and is 100 miles closer for you, Kmoose, Snookerd, Conner, Don V. and and a lot of the West Coast Fleet. Pinellas County sticks out in the Gulf 50 miles farther than Key West. As someone who understands geology, you would understand that we have a lot of bottom structure off shore, starting from about 8-10 miles out going to the Elbow. Although the second smallest county by area, in the state of Florida, Pinellas County has the oldest and largest artificial reef program in the state, the most population density at 3600 per sq. mile (a record held every year since 1928), and the most dedicated public green space per person. Whatever affliction causes people to live on a peninsula, that being a stretch of land surrounded on three sides by water, we have it twice as bad here.
