Let her run. This can NOT be viewed as cryptic can it? Jeez.

Don, healthcare was great when the church ran it. Not big pharm and Hartford,CT.

Yes Sir Sandy, now we have the super efficient Federal Government going to run it....ouch!!

I'm thinking for the first time in my life, it pays to be poor.

What a NICE day to take the boat out on the 1st outting
My sister in law did not take the best pics but here they are.

I did run into a couple of minor issues

I connected the teleflex steering cable backwards but took care of that out on the water
I need the reverse to be adjusted. It goes into reverse but you can tell it needs adjustment as it slips out of gear.
I have the scuppers that drain out directly thur to the bottom of the hull need to buy 2 drain plugs as when the fat boy (me) stands in the back water comes in

I still have water in the gas and I had to dump fuel/water out of the racor 4 times so I need to talke care of that

I ran up to 5200 RPM's and it felt like it had some more need to check cable adjustment too.

I really do need a Bimini or T-Top fast I baked out there today

But over all it ran great!!!!

couple tidbits - on that cable only do 1 barrel roll - I just went thru that with mine - you can't believe how much 1 means LOL

on the fuel, if you tilt it back on the trailer the pickup will get an awful lot of it out, I got a slug in the keys a few years ago and once I did that it was manageable with the filters until it was gone. Adding some water remover helped after draining the tank but the bulb will damn near drain the tank. If you let it settle out a few days you can skim the most of the gas and use it in the car but let it sit.

a big beach umbrella that has an adjustable angle for the top would work in a rod holder or hawes pipe for a couple weeks maybe - its scorching out, I hunt the shade LOL

the umbrella in the hawes pipe would work well if you went someplace you could sit in the water

So nice to hear you got it in the water and it brought you back - this thread has been like reading War & Peace - Congrats
