I went to show a house to one of my clients (I am also a realtor) and in the trash pile I found a cutting board that it looks like it was made for my boat.

Great work you've done with your SeaCraft!!!! nicely done!!!! by the way this guy http://cuttingedgeboattops.com/index.html I've used before for my leaning post on my Mako 18LTS which i sold before getting my SeaCraft, he can really build some real good leaning post and they are very durable... I would recomend him... i think his name is Carlos if i remember correctly.

I have spoken to Carlos already but with now having 3 kids in college the budget is being limited by the Admiral,

Time to work on the console

Here is what I have in mind ...but sometimes that does not work out

Deciding on either doing teak which looks great but needs yearly (at least) maintenence or starboard like material

I really do not want all the electronis on the top on the console


I would like the dash to have a clear sliding doors with a lock so I can used the "glovebox" on the left and flush mount a Garmin 740s a VHF and marine Stereo on the right .
I want clear so that I can keep the door closed and still see the equipment

With either application I think I need to buy fabricate something that is at least 2-3 inches behind the plexi doors so the all will fit and close.

I need help in locating (prefered ) this insert to do this or how to make it

The Console doors

I would like a door that open in 2 parts with one opening being hindged at about 3/4 +/- of the door on top and the rest to open if I need to get something big in or out

It's been awhile since I posted anything or done anything to the boat.
Last time I went out only to have a fuel issue and having to get towed back.
When I looked at the bowl under the racor the gas was a "diffent" color.
After taking off the filter it was full of what looked to be bits of the float to the sender.
When I spoke to my buddy at my marine store to told me not bits of the float but it the crap that the ethonal cleaned from the inside of my tank.

I plan to get something to clean the inside of the tank since it is now empty..SUGGESTIONS PLEASE FOR THIS get a new sender filter etc....

I have already changed all of the fuel hoses from the tank to engine and the ones on the engine so I'm ok with that

Also although the paint job that I did on the outer hull came out ok something has bothered me.

1. the shade of blue is not what I wanted it came out too blue ...I want the lighter sky blue it came with and there are some imperfections that most rookie backyard painters meke so now that is is cooler to work on these things I plan to "get er done"

Maybe Santa Claus will bring me a leaning post

I don't know of a way to do it with the tank installed - seems like the ethanol is doing a pretty good job. You might just have to keep swaping filters till it cleans up, shouldn't be that long. If you stay on it you should be able to dump the filter rather than switch them each time - not sure if you have one the motor but check that one too

I was lucky I didn't have any issues when I switched but my tank had been swapped out

I have a Merc Black Max and I can trim it up all the way with no issues
