Ryan-Thanks for the Vintage $3K Potter Hull to kill the prices in the market in the 5K area -That deal should be done by now right?
Otto- I think your guarantee of price being less than $10K for the "Dixie Girl" reminds me of the quote from the movie Tommy Boy-
Tommy: Let's think about this for a sec, Ted, why do they put a guarantee on a box? Hmm, very interesting.
Ted: I'm listening.
Tommy: Here's how I see it. A guy puts a guarantee on the box 'cause he wants you to feel all warm and toasty inside.
Ted: Yeah, makes a man feel good.
Tommy: 'Course it does. Ya think if you leave that box under your pillow at night, the Guarantee Fairy might come by and leave a quarter.
Ted: What's your point?
Tommy: The point is, how do you know the Guarantee Fairy isn't a crazy glue sniffer? "Building model airplanes" says the little fairy, but we're not buying it. Next thing you know, there's money missing off the dresser and your daughter's knocked up, I seen it a hundred times.
Ted: But why do they put a guarantee on the box then?
Tommy: Because they know all they solda ya was a guaranteed piece of [censored]. That's all it is. Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, I will. I got spare time. But for right now, for your sake, for your daughter's sake, ya might wanna think about buying a quality item from me.
Ted: Hmm. Okay, I'll buy from you.

I saw that boat sell on ebay for over 10K(Insane as it is) , I believe Trayder mentioned it last year on a thread.

snookerd- sorry about that but i really havent garnered much interest at 3k. When i was asking 5k no one even came to look at it. I think 3k is a good deal but we will see

When I'm not in the market there seem to be plenty of inexpensive boats out there. When I was looking for a 20' to have redone, there was a real lack of boats on the market, now there seems to be plenty

Ryan-The 18SF is getting no love either. It's been for sale since November with no one seeing it in person. Even a great deal on my 23SF in October is no longer good enough to satisfy the Boss. There are some excellent deals out there. It sure is a buyers market right now. Hopefully the Bennett Ad gives the web site more buyers-Thanks Ken!

Well I had three different guys tell me they were coming to look this weekend and none showed so its still available for anyone interested. On a side note do people really think they can buy a good running 20 foot boat for $3000?

Still available? Will you haul it to Stuart? Assume you have title etc?
