The more you can save on the initial purchase the more you can throw at materials to put the structure back in the boat!

i like your way of thinkin' !

This is wildmans $1200 seacraft and that is a smokin deal up here in NE. Just one example.
There is a big difference b/w that white boat . . . Just saying. You'd be one lucky duck if you can get it for under 3k.

not to beat a dead horse...

this is a common end to a project boat - again, people get into a project, over estimating their time and skill...this is the end result

http://www.thehulltruth.com/boats-sa...3-project.html

this is a project from top to bottom, the boat's torn apart, the trailer's questionable, and the asking price ? $500 ? i believe the owner's probably gonna have to pay that much,to dispose of the project...

I have a 1978 23 CC that was partially renovated in 2000 and again in 2006(?) by me. A bad back has me considering selling. I am going to list it for sale shortly. I live in Southern NJ just north of you in Marmora, Pelican.

Id be willing to talk about particulars on the phone with a serious buyer. I am sorry if this post is against the rules, I am going to pay the fee to list it here in the coming days.

The boat is not a project at all, it has 2001 150 Evinrudes that Id be willing to keep in case anyone is skeptical. Its a nice restored boat that I havent run since December of 2010.

I am looking too...........

I am looking for a project SC 23 as well. Been looking for over a year. Many candidates I have come accross have owners that are just in a different world with their asking price.

That 86 you found looks like a great project and I am jealous that you KNOW where it is and I dont, LOL! I think if you could get that rig for $2500 or less you have done some good work!

Best of luck to you.

BRAD
