$$$$ Pick up the first load

Chose to go with Fiber Lay in Sarasota. Ryan, my contact has been a great help.

Was a bit disturbed when I arrived to pick up the order, had condemned all pieces 3 hrs. be4 arrival and nothing was picked and ready to load. Looks like they are under staffed.

Total order: 2 cossa 26, 6 nida, 1-2" foam, 1 divinicell and 1-1" foam. All the boards are 3/4" for mix and mathch reasons. The 1" foam was at near their cost because it was damaged. Also on the load was peel-ply, 2-#5 iso resin, 1700 and csm rolls. A bunch of miss. stuff like mek cabosill etc. and a few tools.

Bottom line-----still happy, Ryan kicked it up a notch and likely $1000 off retail ____ don't have time to do the math.

Got a Gem Lux order a month ago all at steep discounts---close out sale and will pull the trigger on a large order in the next week when the $$$$ has healed some what.

Don't know why but cant insert pic's???? Have in the past. Maybe be cause I used the dumb phone?

Hemco and gas tank?????

Hemco will be on the list. I called and emailed them, response was they don't have the 23 Tsunaimi in their records to build a bracket?? Any thoughts, will i have to make a temp lit and send to them?

Changed my mind on power/going with 300 hp G2 and a kicker. Need to determine hull speed and hp of the kicker. I believe a 9.9 will do it with a big diameter wheel and low pitch.

I really need to order the tank real soon. Any idea where I can get value and quality near Sarasota or Fort Myers? It will need to be a custom job also need a fresh water tank, likely 10-20 gal. The gas tank total gal. is yet to be determined, would like to go with a min. of 150 but 200 gal is what I really want. Will visit the Beast today or tomorrow to get more dimensions and start the calc.

Was going to run out and make friends with a few fish today but ran out of energy.

Thanks I will give them a call.

Got most of the cloth dispenser done. Just need to install the feet and PVC to hold the roles.

You might look into a "Bladder Style" Tank for your fresh water hold. Easy to install in tight quarters or weird size unused space.
They will conform to the area without being custom made.
An access hatch cut into the inner liner or below deck will do the trick.

I had a 15 gal in front of the fuel tank. Perfect for quick rinse off of Reels, Dive Gear and Bathing Beauties after a swim ;)

Thats a good idea. The way the stringers are installed the out board side has little room and would work as you suggested and could off set some weight in the boat as needed.NOW ON THE LIST.

Bought a full mask respirator today from Granger. The counter guy was great and call tec support and I talked to him re: VOC. He looked up the various toxins and that helped me chose the proper full mask respirator. Also bought a set of safety glasses to go over the scrip glasses.

I have spoken with CSC member, FossilMan, who was related to the owners of Sunshine Tank, I believe.

Also, on THT there is a group buy going on for fuel bladders. Why not water? Just sayin.

Kicker:

I use an 8 hp Yamaha 4 cycle Hi Thrust model. Its geared and proped for low speed, high torque, kicker type uses. Works great on a 25 Seafari, much better than my old 15 hp Evinrude. The extra torque gives you the ability to push through moderate wind and chop with little loss of speed.
