Photo is from last week. A few more.
The weather was what we wait for all winter. The water is still 66F though.

Somebody should just grab that Inboard.

Fishingprob - These boats are just awesome all around. You can ski behind no problem. Mine cruises at 20knts and will do 30knts.

Still available? I sent a PM

NorthbyNW 07-20-2018 01:47 PM

Got it - replied. The boat is available, but there is an offer for the top. and maybe the trailer.
Not too interested in having a trailerless topless boat in the yard - this is in a respectable neighborhood!
Please - save this beautiful boat! There will never be a nicer one for less$! Just hoping to recover costs!

I went and looked at this boat in person- only about 20 miles away from me. Although it has been sitting for a long time, it seems like a good candidate for a re-do. Floor seems solid, I think most of the parts are there, hull is actually pretty decent. The trailer seems to be in good condition as well but not sure about brakes. If I would have known about this boat prior to buying mine, I would have picked this one up and saved myself a trip to LA!

I'm just south of Seattle. I'd love to look at this boat and potentially restore it to it's former glory.

Update on 76 Sceptre 23

So thanks to all of you for having a venue for recovery of the boat! It's been really fantastic to see the interest and know that this boat will likely be floating again soon! There has been an offer for the boat - and evidently logistics for a trip back to Florida are being worked out. My Brother in law has a couple of people who are on backup if it doesn't work out, so if you have been thinking about it now would be the time. He has two main priorities - that the boat is gone soon, and that maybe he and his wife can cruise in it once after it has been restored.

So - not gone yet, but maybe soon, and thanks again for those of you who support the site and love these boats! I will let you all know if it goes away or goes back into the yard for the winter!

She’s currently getting her trailer repaired and then she’ll be put in storage to anxiously await the 3000+ mile journey back home to Stuart, FL. That’s gonna be a fun little drive.😂

Wow! What a journey! Wish you the best of luck when bringing her home!

Heck of a story coming back cross country from the great Northwest!
