Dash

I am speechless - this dash is amazing. I will post more photos of everything in a few days. Sea trial later this week!

The only question left is what to name her. I am tempted with "The Scamp" but also saw a fellow username "Old's Cool" which would be a perfect fit for this boat (with his blessing).

castalot 04-21-2014 06:04 PM

"legal@15" or
"Knot like the Rest"
Just two that come to mind.

strick 04-21-2014 08:40 PM

Love the carbon fiber dash. Is it laid up with epoxy? What clear coat is on it?

Strick

If you saw his G/F this would be appropriate.
Between , Michael, his G/F and this boat, they will be the smartest looking things on the water this Memorial Day.

This boat will truly deserve the GUCCI Award.

Looks fantastic Mike, can't wait to see completed package, uh, yeah, including the smart GF cruising the Miami water scene . Way to go Ole - awesome again, and thanks for sharing the progress of the project, Mike.

Like "Old's Cool," "Don't A$k" is a classic name, too.

When I think back to childhood, I remember skiffs first. I learned how to row.
Flip off the dock, jump in and spin away. Low tide at the sandbar. Stomp around for
clams. Dig. Cook. Enjoy.

I then learned to sail. Off to canoes and kayaks. Did two 70 mile canoe trips through Canada with portages as a young squid.
Love it,
GFS

When is this gathering? I'll have to make sure with my work schedule. I'll post performance numbers as soon as we take a few cruises and all the tuning/tweaking is done.

DonV 04-25-2014 10:30 AM
