of Florida.... I vividly remember riding down the sidewalk looking out the back window in my Dad's 1950 Crosley Wagon to escape the flooding of the streets in Holly Hill, FL. one block west of the ICW (Intracoastal Waterway) Man o man.... I be OLD !! Attachment 9902 How I would love to have that old car today!! Thats what the gathering is all about good times and bad,, Yo, Rot Gut HOOK US UP !!! |
As luck would have it, my order is in to my local distillery folks to supplement the apple pie I already have chilling in the refrigerator designated for the Sebastian gathering. Now what would be really cool is if the nice people at Pappy's distillery were to release a little more of their very scarce product for us poor SeaCraft crazies to enjoy :)

It looks awsome everyday! Check it out. |
Ugh. It's raining here Terry.....
At least we will be with better shelter! ;) |
Don't worry, it never rains when I'm underwater.

Longpoint Crosley's
WoW- guess the Terrys have more in common than the first name, the Pirate namesake, and now a Crosley. When I was about 11 my uncle gave me a pretty beat 1947 Crosley. It would overheat if driven at road speeds so over the next two or three years I killed it driving up and down our orange grove for whatever excuse I could get. "Yes, Mom I'll go get some oranges or the fire wood at the end of the property". When the battery would die, Dad would push start me with his one cylinder Gravely garden tractor." I also remember Donna, not much of a problem in Fort Pierce. But my folks took a big truck of goods to the Keys and then to Fort Myers.
See ya'll soon Capt Terry R Quote:

We arrive next Tuesday and are staying for 9 days. Prepping all this week!
|
Just got an inside tip the offshore action off Sebastian has been ramping up to epic and looks like it should be peaking late enough to land smack dab on the gathering. They're still catching lots of sails and kings as well. I'm oiling up all the clickers on my reels as I'm ready to hear em scream in the stream!
|
Gosh Moose, that would be too bad!!! :) :) A few nice dolphin filets would be nice! I guess I'm going to have to break out the outriggers from the garage.
|
It's going to be quite a sight seeing a line SeaCrafts charging out the inlet!
|
:mad:Looks like I'm going to miss this epic gathering, eventhough it's in my backyard. I'll be somewhere in the southern Bahamas next weekend.
Have a great time, and I wish you good weather. For those of you going out for dolphin, 120'-180' of depth usually is productive. Listen on VHF 68 for reports. Be safe, and have fun! Lloyd |

Well I guess there are worse places to be "hung up" than Andros and Cay Sal. Lloyd, did you hear the scuttlebutt about "Cuber"? The guys I know that deliver yachts to the Caymans and Roatan tell me "Nothing is a problem" . Good clean fuel and cheaper than it is here. What you know "El Capitan"? The Pickle Banks on the south side would be cool to dive. |

Well I have bailed on the panhandle trip next Thursday and now plan to head down to Hernando Beach, Fla.. But I have no schedule and am curious if anyone has room for one to split a room. I will not be bringing the MA, but would love to attend. I have a place to stay in Melbourne Beach. Is that just a few miles up the barrier island? Old teacher, brand new home oceanfront. Shit, it looks so close I won't need a room!
Thanks Vezo, Part II |
......I will not be bringing the MA, but would love to attend.....
Thanks Vezo, Part II[/QUOTE] Come on down brother. There ain't noth'in going on in North Aripeka right now anyway since the Swampfest is over. In Sebastian, you can pick Kmoose's brain about the Nature Coast and save yourself a bunch of running around waist'in gas once you get settled in to your new place in North Aripeka. |
That's too funny! I'm coming. Hey, is the Post Office in South Aripeka?
|
North Aripeka
Quote:
The best thing about Hernando Beach (North Aripeka) is Brian's Place. Mussles, steamed in garbanzo bean soup, served with cuban bread toast. Mango cheese cake for dessert. GFS would be proud! Kenny and I will both be at Sportsmans Lodge early so we can "tighten you up" with the West Coast, whilst at the East Coast Gathering. Donny will be there too, but he is usually busy entertaining the girls with his bartender prowess. |
Yes I can't afford Brians Place but I eat at the bar at least twice every time I'm there. And part of the tip is buying a shot of chilled Sambuca with Brian when he comes out of the kitchen!!! Life is short.
Got a nice offer from a member to possibly take a studio while he will not arrive until Sat if at all... Knowing what the Whaler rendezvous gatherings and myself, I should definitely stay on property... Going to call my clam guy and see if season is still open. Almost as good as Wellfleet clams! $23/100 mixed cherry stones. How many will be in attendance? Michael. |

Kmoose usually makes a run to Cedar Key for clams for the Gatherings. He might want to take care of the clams or he might be happy to have you help him out. Miles don't seem to worry him much. Most importantly, Kenny will be cooking so we will need your services on "Fire Watch" at the Cook Shack, for sure. We have tried several times to come up with a head count for each Gathering. It's like looking for Child Support! Who, What, Maybe, I think. A lot of Sgt. Shultz "I know notting". Generally these guys are more nervious than a Whore at Confession as far as committment goes. if I was a ganbling man I would say 24-30 (plus or minus 10!) Danny or No bones may know more. It'll be good regardless. |
I know nothing

Ugh, full moon Monday home boy...... Unless you are running three daze ahead of schedule.. I still know notting...;) |
If someone can grab the clams this time it would help me out a bunch. So much to load and prep for a 9 day stay I will be lucky to make it through a weigh staton with my rig. Count me in for a bag of the largest ones they got. I like something to chew on when I have em.
The moose fish killing family circus will arrive Tuesday afternoon and probably spend the rest of the day unloading enough off the boat so it floats off the trailer. Ya'll hurry it up though cause there's a 1 grouper per person daily bag limit so I want pack the Tsunami like a Haitian refugee tug just so Terry and I can shoot fish for more than 5 minutes..... |
Ah Shit. I think I'm going to fit right in.?.!.!!!
|
SCORE! 350 locally called "Top Necks" coming out of the water Tuesday! Be in Thursday late afternoon!
If the facilty does not allow pets, I will stop in Melbourne Beach to leave my Golden for the weekend. |
