Hopefully Mel and I will have the trolling bite figured out long before anyone gets there during the week.

I`ll add my mango and papaya sauce to that

Making Cape Cod jealous.
Again.

NOW were talking Martin!!! See how nice we are? :)

uncleboo 11-13-2017 08:13 AM

I can't wait! I've been wanting to attend one since I've been a member.

Vezo, Part II 11-16-2017 04:21 PM

What's with the building to the north called "On The Edge"? I like it. Can me and Lucie stay there to avoid the $50/night fee? Oh, and she'll have to shed 20 pounds by then. I'm thinking of doing the week, anyone else?

I'm not familiar with the area, but I believe Hutchison Island is very close to Palm City, where I have friends from high school, and Lucie can stay. Not much room to hide the SeaCraft, but close enough to stay a few nights, and still get to Ken and Mel's new Sled? Am I close? Thanks.

Michael.

Vezo, Part II 11-16-2017 04:32 PM

Holy Crap it's close!!! Perfect!

dirtwheelsfl 11-16-2017 08:11 PM

"On The Edge" is just a resturant/bar (to the west). Driving to Palm City is a good 45 min if no ones on the road, by boat double that at least. Im halfway in between if anyone needs a dock!

Vezo, Part II 11-16-2017 10:51 PM

Thank you Sir! I appreciate the info. Have room for a boat and trailer?

Michael.

dirtwheelsfl 11-18-2017 05:30 PM

Yup. Gimme a shout when it gets closer if ya need to... Chris

Planned attendees for 2018 Fort Pierce Gathering

There already has been a lot of interest in the FP gathering. Unfortunately we had to miss the Sept Hommosassa gathering which included some new people.
Was wondering if there was an easy way to keep a running list of the planned participants for FP? Perhaps CSC handle, boat name and description, location, plus name of boat owner and guest. Be nice to examine before the event. Any interest?

I`m in witness protection.

DonV 11-19-2017 07:56 PM

Hummmm......Terry, maybe all that have made reservations can reply and Jim, 77secptreOB, would be kind enough to add a tab to his SeaCraft T-shirt spread sheet from Homosassa and keep us up to date. At this point, off the top of my head, EricB, DonV, Kmoose, NoBones, Gofastorslow, Bumpdraft, TerryEngland, have made reservations. Still a ways off, however don't be caught sleeping.

bumpdraft 11-19-2017 08:31 PM

Speaking of up to date. I'm still looking at area 442 one ahead of the now defunct sportsmans lodge.

First of all Donny, can you git Snookerd to take down the dang Spring Poling header on this thread? Fort Pierce won fair and square jus like Hillary won the Democrat Nomination!......Was it on there?
Speaking of your Debbie Wasserman Shultz School of Accounting of who’s coming? Uncleboo said he was in, Dirtwheelsfl is just down the road so, it’s a bet he’ll swing by if he hears about them Cajun Hushpuppies of yurs and VezoII said he is coming with that bitch Lucy! The Greene boys are just down the beach a spell and they like diving out there - there are a lot of Bull Sharks mixed in with those Cobia that time of year and Kenny and I need “tail gunners”. Ol cranky Pelican ain’t too far away so he might jump in his Jeep and come straighten us out on a couple of things. If you wait too long yo sign up your liable to get stuck sleepin’ on a picnic table and it might be already reserved for Sandy! HE WHO HESITATES, IS LOST.

There may be some gerrymandering going on in 442...

Snookerd 11-19-2017 10:46 PM

Thank Ken

NoBones 11-19-2017 10:57 PM

I tried to delete it, but that task is a little challenging this late at night !

Soooo, a little short edit should do for now....:)

We need to kick this gathering up a notch..

When we met in Anclote in 2007, we had a raffle, drawings and
prizes ....;) I plan to get some items donated so we can do the same..

With everybody kickin' in this could be a homerun shindig.. :D

I want our boys up north to just play hookie and come-on down !!

Hopefully we can get our exalted leader Trayder to make an appearance..

bumpdraft 11-19-2017 11:15 PM

Looks perfect. Also for those playing hookie and are so inclined, a combination trip to West End is only 80 something miles from FP.

Sorry Don, should have mentioned I made reservations last week for Anita and me, even though daughter lives in Stuart where it is free except for sitter duties. But didn't want to miss any of the CSC fun. In Stuart for Thanksgiving so going to stop by Dockside for a closer look. Hope our plans don't get scuttled this time!

rcnight 11-20-2017 07:47 AM

I made reservations - I think room 105 poolside. Bringing the misses this time since my deadbeat brother ate too much at the fish fry and wasn’t too much help with the scallops. Looking forward to seeing the group again.

Might want to double check that....?
I booked 105 over two weeks ago..

rcnight 11-20-2017 09:47 AM

Dang - oh well. I call dibs on the bed closest to the restroom. You’re right (senior moment). I have 102, almost neighbors.

uncleboo 11-20-2017 09:57 AM

I got 413, in the poor section away from errthang!

DonV 11-20-2017 10:10 AM

Hey, I'm in 417 and I look at it as the "less affluent" section. :) Don't want to get too close to 105 that guy snores like crazy!!!

bumpdraft 11-20-2017 10:26 AM

I'm hearing about all these room numbers and I checked my confirmation again. I don't see any room number on it. Maybe I'm staying in the shed or boathouse or something.

rcnight 11-20-2017 11:09 AM

Don - that’s my wife, not me. Thank you.

DonV 11-20-2017 12:07 PM

I noticed our new poll it looks like only Spidercrab voted for Fantasy Fest, too late it was last month. :)

kmoose 11-20-2017 03:14 PM

108 for us...

I`m by the stairs, next to the ice machine, and picnic table.
Do they have an elevator?
I may upgrade.

Old'sCool 11-29-2017 12:55 PM

As of right now...#120 for us. Looking forward to it! I've fished out of Jupiter a few years during May. We always sabikied bait and slow trolled or bottom fished. The dolphin should still be there and usually kings galore.

Capt Terry 11-29-2017 03:58 PM

Dockside Inn Photos

During our Thanksgiving trip to our daughter’s family in Stuart, we again lunched at & enjoyed “On the Edge”. Then visited Dockside Inn next door and under the same management. Dockside is well maintained and it should be a good choice for the May 2018 Gathering. See photos with descriptions. Trailer parking is on a vacate lot across the street and vehicles must be disconnected from trailers. Consider this if you need to bring some device to secure your trailer. Note the sign no outside alcohol permitted on the sandy spot with tables and Tiki hut adjacent to On the Edge. hmm

Capt Terry and Anita are in #119 next to OldsCool
Really looking forward to it already!

DonV 11-29-2017 05:10 PM

I snuck my sister into centre court when the French gentleman Henri leConte played
his last match at Wimbledon against Agasi in 92?

Hide in plain sight.

kmoose 11-29-2017 09:25 PM

I won’t be drinking my Mexican limeade on the sand but the bar will be open on the back deck of the Tsunami while tied up. Bring your deck chairs and enjoy the mood lighting and commercial free classic rock name that tune!
