Re: Dania Beach Flea Market

A few folks had asked about reccomended accomodations for this years' flea market. Trayder had previously stayed at the Guest Quarters Suites, although pricey, is on the ICW (and near my home). Another idea that I think would work well with the personalities involved is the Bahia Cabana (Days Inn ) right next to Bahia Mar. Address is South Atlantic or something, I can get a ph. #. Best rummruners in town, boasts the largest Jacuzzi in south florida, across A1A from the beach, and has its own waterfront docks. ABout 8 minutes fromthe flea market and the prices are usually cheapest on the beach. I can get the Bertram into their slip...

Hello Boys and Girls,

I've become aware this afternoon that there is word circulating that I am taking care of all lodging reservations for the Dania Beach Flea Market. This is not the case. I have booked one room at the Bahia Cabana after Other Tom mentioned it.

Other Tom has provided an excellent list of options for sleep. I encourage those of you that are attending to investigate which of these options best suits your needs.

I look forward to meeting you all/
mark

Mark, sorry about that, I must have misunderstood Jason when I spoke with him the other day.

Well, I guess this leaves me temporarily homeless. Anyone interested in rooming with me? Ed, John, Bueller, Bueller, anyone?

What about that time at Band Camp......

Really though, a weekend at Bahia Cabana, schlepping around the fleamarket stealing TACO 'riggers for $450, drinking beer, $1.00 sabikis, and BudGirls is not bad. Throw in a fishing tournament, the possibility of hooking up a swordy, a ride on Generaider's Fichtmobile is priceless.

The Bahia Cabana is really more of a oversized Tiki Bar surrounded by hotel rooms, a beach, and the largest collection of private power boats in the United States. and they have a ring-toss game. (request a "strong floater" on your RumRunners and ColladaRunners).
