OK first one was too small. Second was too big. According to the story with the three bears, this one is supposed to be just right.

So which block on this list is the best fit?

For a 23' GM 350 & 5.7 L vortec are the only ones that make sense to me. 305 would do the job, but for same $ you'd be happier with the 350 cid. Parts and mechanics everywhere. Pretty sure jack-shaft kits are available.
