Re: 23 is coming together
Atta boy Tim!
Nice way to break in that California boat :D That water looks nice. I'm heading to the Mountains for a few days this week and when I return I'll give you a call to hopefully set something up. strick |

Re: 23 is coming together
will do . . . I haven't hooked up the flowscan yet, but I'm gonna guess it's somewhere in the 2 to 2.5mpg range.

Re: 23 is coming together
John was nice enough to take Katie and I out on his 23 last saturday. That pic (43" . . . doesn't look like it I know) is on his boat off Chatham ;) http://fermi.jhuapl.edu/avhrr/cmo/11...aug10_1809.png

Getting it Dialed in
Got a different prop and boy it made all the difference. 15.25 x 15P aluminum. Not too bad for a 1979 Vertical reed 2.4L v200 non fingerported chrome bore powerhead!! Mind you a mid 80's 2.4L 175 was also vertical reed setup with fingerports. 70 gallons of fuel, 2 big adults, and kicker. Picked up a 15P mirage this week . . . we'll see what happens. Based on today's run . . . I believe I'm getting roughly 2.5mpg with the setup. Not too shabby.
