would love to see how they set up the backing plates etc on yours.

I will defiantly post pictures when he gets it bolted. Josh took my rear skin and built it up to half an inch thick before he added the composite and than 4 more layers after they. Everything was tabbed 12” on the sides. My transom is bullet proof

Yes I am excited. Can’t wait to get back out on the water. Here is a shot of another 23 bracket install that he is doing. Couldn’t see all of it cause the cap is on but you can see that there is 4” square stainless plates on the inside

Not a lot of work being done as I am also in line from boats ahead of me. Assured that it will start happening quicker. The teak spray rails have been sanded back into shape and glassed over to fair into hull better

A bit more progress. Building the stringers back to the transom

More progress The stringers have the chaulks to raise the floor up as well as the bulkhead for the fresh water tank. Also the front vents are filled in as well. Most of the hull has had the clear coat sanded off and little imperfections fixed.

It’s been a few weeks but progress is as follows. The front deck has been replaced and glassed back in. The floor is fitted in and getting trimmed in a few areas. The fresh water tank should be here tomorrow and foamed in. It is 25 gal of fresh water and will go right behind the tank. We are able to move the smaller console forward to help aid in keeping the weight distribution close. The keel has also been cut to allow the transducer to be installed on the boat centerline. Also I added pvc rigging tubes to make wiring and such easier

Please do not glass in the Teak spray rails ! David Brown did those in the early 70's, they are a work of art and need to be shown off...
Just my 2¢ worth...

Only because that is what separates my 1970 20SF from the rest of the pack !
