MacRaes Update

Ladies & Gents - just spoke with Wendy at MacRaes and she informed me 5 efficiencies just opened up for our weekend. For those that might have missed out on the rooms, here's a chance to attend what I believe will be a great weekend of fish tales, beer drinking, and lots of SeaCraft stories. Rates are $150/nite with a 2 nite minimum. Open reservation, no need to mention McKnight. You can reach them at 352-628-2602. Also asked about parking. Trailer parking anywhere on the grass. The public ramp next door is $10 for a day pass - not sure what that means. Florida Cracker ramp fee is $10 and additional $10 if you wish to park on site. They have a huge parking lot. Hope to see you all there.

Making Maine Lobstah stock today.
I throw pounds and pounds of butter in there.
French secret. Thanks Monsieur Denis.
Best pastry chef ever.

Recently thinking why not use the butter in giant popovers.
Lobstah Popovahs!

I may be onto something here.

Ok, I’m in. Coming back from camping trip a little early. Yeah.

If fish is covered, what do you want us to bring? The spicy hush puppies seemed to be popular at past gatherings if I can get some fry time in the fish oil.

Spicy Hush Puppies were very popular, but not nearly as popular as Mel!
Just don’t forget her!

Terry, our better halves are normally the only halves of us anybody cares to have. Hell, even our dogs go weeks without even acknowledging my existence.

We are really looking forward to seeing everyone and catching up.

Head Count

Ladies & Gents - we're finalizing details for the upcoming Scallop Soiree. Can I get a head count for all those attending the Saturday night fish fry? So far, Terry England has graciously donated plenty of fish, NoBones will be bringing some east coast shrimp, Kmoose is bringing his legendary hushpuppies and I'll be bringing some coleslaw and Mike's Key Lime pie. Please bring your favorite side/dessert to share. Shaping up to be another great SeaCraft weekend.

Teresa & I will be there (Fish fry only) and we will bring a dessert item.
