Just when I thought it was safe to look at "repairs/mods" again....I see this, MR. and I do mean Mister Bonefish, outstanding may not be enough props for this project!! I'm giving serious thought to my transom re-build, something simple and then this masterpiece for ideas! Beautiful!

Love that dash lay out. Are those pull-switch knobs and labels custom items? What do you think your hard top weighs. It's foam cored so I wouldn't think it would be alot. I'd love to go that route at rebuild time.

The switches are actually push buttons with separate LED indicator lights below. The labels above the switches are a single "rub down" transfer applied to the dash before the final coats of clear.

The hard top weighs about 50 lbs.

Considering the excellent and trick things you've done here, I beg your pardon for this question...
The instrument panel appears to be set on a hinging prism of sorts that closes flush to hide/protect everything when not in use. Is that right?

That's right. The top of the console is basically three pieces: the rear and forward sections are fixed, and the instrument panel is mounted to the underside of the middle section which rotates via a 12v linear actuator.

The instrument panel alone.

Bonefish, Like Guiness -- Brilliant! Can you show some more of that movement and the actuator layout? That is really cool!
