To Michael,
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to restore this classic beauty.
She (as well as Amelia) will turn heads wherever you go.
You truly have created a "One of a Kind" masterpiece.
Ole

Are the engine mounts custom? I used to have a 3.0 in an old Bertram, but they had a forward mount.

Ian.

The mounts are an option.

There is boat porn and then there is hard core boat porn like this!!!! Outstanding job and well deserving of the "Gucci Stamp" by Capt. Chuck!!

Damn!!! Awesome!! It turned out amazing! I would love to have a Scampi, it would be right at home around here in our rivers. That boat is much rarer than the Seavette.

Caymanboy 04-28-2014 06:51 AM

I thank everyone for the comments.

This boat was a ton of fun to do because it was different.
Everyone has or is doing a CC, not to many people do a boat like this.
It turned out really well.

And, once again, Thank You!

RUSTYNTABATHA 04-28-2014 09:13 AM

Simply amazing !!!

NoBones 04-28-2014 10:25 AM

Ole,

I believe you have out done yourself on this one!! :)

Just one question, how did you work out titling the boat?

Thank you.
This little boat is special.
My boats, as always are titled as original. I do not re-title boats as new with Parker Yacht or anything like that.
We also have no problem insuring boats. We just supply documentation on the work done.

CaptLloyd 04-28-2014 11:34 AM

Wow! That boat is sooo cool!

Great job Oly!

Lloyd

Thank you everybody. Most importantly Ole.

Thank you everybody for your comments and I could not agree more. The vision that I had in my head for this boat could not have been more perfectly executed. Ole and his crew are true craftsmen and do phenomenal work. She is a joy to take out!

We need more pics of her in the water at rest and running
Video would be better

gofastsandman 04-28-2014 08:13 PM

You kept the weight and balance. In both form and function. I think Carl would be happy.
When I first saw Ole`s old Coral Reefer, I thought Yikes, this guy is good. You can snap a line down his paint.

Very pretty.

That pumpkin is gorgeous.

Glad to see you are getting to enjoy it!

Islandtrader 07-01-2014 07:14 AM

Sharp...do you have any performance numbers on the Scamp?

ayianilos 07-01-2014 11:51 AM

Performance #s

Thanks. I don't have gps numbers yet but the tach reads 48mph @ 4,600-4,700 rpm - on perfectly flat water. Not sure if it's calibrated exactly because I raced a friends flats boat that goes 50 and I got him by quite a bit.
