Guys, this'll be my first gathering and have no idea what to bring, any suggestions?

Any thing edible or drinkable you want to bring is fine with everyone Nestor.
We always need paper plates and plastic forks. It always comes together
without a lot of effort. Besides Publix is a couple blocks away...
See you this weekend.

Looks like the fun has begun! Have a great night and see you tomorrow! By the way, my newer battery charger with all the screen data that said fully charged was lying….I just bought a new old school 50 amp charger without the fancy screen that already has my first battery up and going. Bring on the wind and waves! Let’s roll.

Quite windy so today is definitely an “inshore” day. We all took a boat ride down to Vero Beach and had lunch on the water. Fun!

Denny, might want to bring a few anchors.

I have an 85# Mantus & 37# Fortress on bow & a 65# Bruce & 40# Danforth in lazarette. Hope that’s enough! Our eta is about 1600 hrs. Will probably anchor somewhere east of marker G65.

I'm hoping to run down by boat tomorrow!

It definitely was a great gathering! We were missing a few key people. I am looking forward to seeking everyone in September on the West Coast!

Ok, a few more. Of course, today no wind and it’s calming down outside.

nestorpr 04-27-2022 01:19 AM

So sorry I missed it! Unexpected visit from long time, far away friends prevented me. Hope to make the next one!

"Where is Nestor?"

Yah Nestor, a few of us wondered what you look like in the flesh. Instead of "Where is Waldo?", it was "Where is Nestor?"

Marshtackie 04-27-2022 07:36 PM

Missed Don V and Deb fixin’ the fish and hush puppies but Eric and Cindy picked up the slack and cleated off an outstanding “ball bat” red snapper meal for everyone. Don’s got one heck of a “Prep-Cook” now.
I am going to try to come up with a couple of West Coast Scallop Season options in September (unless you guys want to do Boca Grand again) for Danny to post soon. Stand by.

Hey Nestor- haha
Based on the hair cut I would have guessed the early to mid 70s before I bought my ‘76 Seafari. I know at that time I would not have recognized myself today

nestorpr 05-03-2022 01:10 AM

HAHAHA, pretty close! That was shot in 1975 at the brand new (at that time) Villa Marina in Fajardo, PR. We were one of the first to store our boat in the then also new, dry stack storage. Disco anyone???
