Basically the boat is finished...LOL Right!:D

Anyway thought I might post this mod...in case no one else has thought of it or needs it.

After a few trips out in bumpy water I noticed that the front v-hatch was jumping out of the rail where it sits. I did not hinge it originally (dumb) because I thought I would not use it much (life jacket storage) and that I could just open and slide back to retrieve stuff. Well I was wrong

I wanted to hinge the lid and then have something hold it open while I was digging around. Best solution to date was 5200 hinges to the liner and to make a hinge that would flap one way and lock another. Hope this makes sense.

Rod Holders

After going out a few times I discovered that I was in need of some rod storage areas . I did not want to put them on the inside of the gunnels for the obvious reason... so this is what i came up with.

One piece of cypress left from the side boards.

Drilled and Varnished.

What a great job and phenomenal finished project! Haven't been on the site for a while but first thread I wanted to check out. Enjoy! You've definitely earned it......

Would like to see video of the boat running into 2'-4' chop from your boat AND other boat so we can see how it runs .

Would likely be the only video in existence of this hull running in chop, not just flat or near flat calm seas.

Sure it's asking a lot, but would be an interesting piece of nautical history, brought back to life by you !!

Congratulations. Terrific looking boat.

Hello this vessel looks similar to my HiLiner Gypsy 222 and I’m looking because the capacity plate is missing and I need a picture of one so I can make one. Do you know if your boat is the same hull?

Sorry but it's not even close to the same hull. I like the HiLiners but they are a completely different boat.
