So then I apply the Interprotect epoxy primer 1st and then sand and paint?

Yes!

Is the application brush on or spray on?

I think most folks use a roller. Check the Interlux web site for detailed instructions.

No painting yet but the rain stopped the prep work

Well not much has happened with the weather and my job just some occaisonal sanding but my plan is to at least finish the botton fairing.
The hull sides were not bad and is pretty much done. Decided to paint the console and is about 90% faired and sanded. Now I may just do the gunnels and the inside so it looks all done.

It's starting to sound like most of the guys here that it starts with one thing and it leads to 5 others.

Maybe I have a 2011 model ....LOL

I'll have some updated pics this weekend

Well after having to cut out a small area of the floor to take care of a soft spot I have decided just to paint the whole boat.
I pretty sure I'm going to use Signature Paints.
Hull will be Sea Foam Green and the interior a shade of white to match tha hull.
Since I'm a rookie and have never done this it's going to be an experiance do all this.

Well read directions and take advise from all the pros here and see what happens.

So back to sanding!!!!!

After some time out for weather baseball for the boys work and other things I managed to sneak in some time on the boat.

I cut out the area that was soft dug out the rotted soaking wet wood and with a small electric chain saw dug out the area around the cut part and stopped when I reached glass or dry wood.

Next I sanded aroung all the old screw holes dings and dents on the gunnels and sides and filled them in..sanding them tommorrow.

I also sanded down the non skid on the floor and gunnel since I will be painting the whole boat inside and out.

Still kind of undecided on the hull color it's either the blue it came with or Sea Foam Green or Fighting Lady Yellow

The shade of white for the bottom and inside will depend on the hull color.

Slowly but surely it will get done

Keep at it. This stuff takes time but when it done it sure will look purty :)

BTW seafoam green is a good choice!
