Re: SeaCraft Ride Vs Regulator & Contender

Peter,

There was a 1986, 27' Center Console in great shape with a tower for sale near my house. I think it may be still be for sale and listed on this site. It has twin 250 Mercs (Two strokes) on a Bracket. I know the owner and he is a really nice guy, he mentioned to me he wanted to downsize to a 23, so he may be interested in a trade. If he puts it back in soon, I bet he would be happy to give you a test ride. I imagine the 27 with twim outboards is a different animal to mine in many ways. Of the three boats, mine is probably the wetter of the 3 in heavy seas, but I am always dry in the Pilot House Anyway. I would love to see how that setup performs. All we need is a Southwest wind and you will be able to see what it can do in Nantucket Sound. I would bring my boat, just to see the difference. The boat is located in Harwich, Ma near Saquatucket Harbor, only a few miles from my house in Chatham.
