Look's hot out there. I'm thinking the captain, diet coke and some ice. It's 95 here so I went out and looked at her this morning. Maybe tomorrow.

the winner was clear! Capitan 1 and seacraft transom 0 :) tommorow is a new day!

ok so i finished sanding the outside of the transom and gelcoated it. and then today sanded that. the texture was very wavy due to using small home depot pink mat rollers. it sanded out smooth with the DA sander but its very thin and went through in a few spots. i need to get a heavier aplication on so i can sand smooth without being to thin. and ideas? other than spraying it on. thanks guys.

maybe a faom roller would leave a better surface?

How do you guys in the South deal with the grinding itch? I wear full tyvak suit, Mask and plastic googles and I sitll itch. A friend who does fiberglass insulation says you get used to it.

I find that hard to believe.

hugo 07-10-2012 12:48 PM

i run one fan on me and one pulling the dust away, shop vac hooked to sander discharge port and long sleeves also, shirt over the head like a yard guy does. it sucks to grind, but its got to be done.
