OMG - And they let you work with power tools?

I'm planning on tackling some issues on my 1976-23' inboard within a few weeks. I plan on removing the gunwall cap and recoring it, recoring, the decks and possibly the transom also. I'd like to also address the scuppers, and eventually repaint the hull too. I'm going to start with a budget of around $3,000 and go from there. Work will be done myself with the help of friends and family. There is no rush and I'll be taking my time. A yacht quality finish is not going to be important to me as it will be a hard core fishing boat when finished.

Yes. Power tools are not computers.
I have NO ISSUE saying I am an analog guy living in a digital world.
Now, on the "other" site, I can figure it out, this one I can't.
