If you want the nicer and bigger cabin then go for the 25 seafari... but unless you are a munchkin you will still not be able to stand all the way up. The 23 Sceptre has a small cuddy but tons of deck space. Read my posts on the 25 seafari before you purchase one without first sea trialing..... Good luck.

Also read the two threads Bushwacker referenced above. They will give you a good overview of the quirks of the seafari 25. It is a fabulous boat, but not for everybody. Its so sharp, it leans a lot when turning. I hardly notice anymore, but sometimes my passengers freak out if not warned ahead of time.
On buying sight unseen: Assume you will need a major redo, no matter what it sounds like. Not a bad assumption for a 40 year old boat, even if you get a good look at it. Feel free to PM me if you have some more detailed questions. Connor |
