build question?

ok so im getting ready to decide how to finish the inside of the boat. my question is how much support does building a top cap offer to the transom? i know that is were my original crack started, so im guessing it is needed on the new designed transom?

Well its been a while and I am finally able to start again on my repair. Built the transom cap and floor from wood and I just started glassing my prices. Hope I don't get to busy to have to stop again.

How did you glass your new section of floor to the rest of the boat? Did you just glass the top side? Or did you also glass the bottom? If so how was that done? I want to remove my storage compartments and splash well and extend my floor to the transom but can't figure how to do it. Thanks. I like the look of the curve of the transom cap. Very nice work.
