Does this only apply to the DF250AP?

I just installed a DF225 2006 on my 23 cc. I currently have it on the 2nd from the top hole. The AV plate is just above my keel, maybe 1" or so.

Suzuki has an adjustable tilt stop to match stopping points.

Looks like I have 20 inches to my fabricated door. Guess it will depend on how high the motor is mounted. It probably won’t tilt all the way up, my Yamaha didn’t either.

I had the same door layout prior to the rebuild where I added the bracket. I utilized a 10” aluminum bracket and everything cleared perfectly. Without a doubt, that was the best my hull ever handled.
