That's pretty funny Sandy.........I have the ideas for this years shirts, but I decided to wait on printing them. We need to have a batch for everyone, so I think a non-event shirt is going to go over better(especially with our size group this year). We have a couple of BIG Anniversaries coming up with with our site and boats.

PBIA is just around the corner from us.....the +&%$#@ planes fly right over the house thanks to the Donald and his lawsuit , which changed vectors away from his over-golded Mar a Lago.

Our Summers are hot and it isn`t easy getting out in the Winter, although I did get out more this year. We live for the Spring and Fall runs.

Pretty soon CsickNick, Bigshrimpin, and GetTheNet will post pics of slob BFT`s and the tables will be turned.

You have the best of both fisheries, and for that we are all jealous.

Of course now that the boat is running - went out to get the outriggers out and while cleaning the garage - Susans chithead son apparently has bent and kinked one section and crushed and egg shaped another section - worthless no good inconsiderate nevermind...... did I say wothless no good already? You guys just cannot believe how ...... pissed I am right now

No bananas on my boat.

Dixon, Big Bobby Birdsall taught me how to fix riggers for a friend years ago.

Cut back to straight stock on the riggers.

You are going to make an inner sleeve. Get stock that is @ 1/8 inch smaller od than the id of the rigger.

Wind caulk around the outside of the inner sleeve just like whipping rope ends.

Insert the sleeve in both ends of the rigger. Twist and twist while pushing together t`ill fully inserted and the gap is gone. Not restaurant quality , but it works.

Sandy - Just looked up the fact that it will a couple days past the full moon - a couple late night snook areas around the inlet would be nice.

At 11PM I presume a safety line will need to be attached to DonV, but there should be some big ass snook in there though

On the outriggers - I was so pissed I didn't try and figure a fix. I think one will only need a slight haircut so no issues. The other is kinked and bent a few inches up. I am going to head over to a T Top buddy of mine tomorrow, but trimmin it back a few inches and maybe a wrap of black eletric tape might work fine

Your ideas are welcome as I'm in the fix and repair mode now, rather than " I want to choke the life out of the individual" mode. Of course he's much bigger than I, so really not an option other than an old fart wishing.

I'm back now & it's time to get moving on this gathering!

Everybody going to get there mid-day Friday?
Everybody going to bring something for the grill?
Do you want to have a pot luck dinner Friday? that means you bring something for the grill & one side dish to feed about 8 people ????
And then Saturday, everybody fixes their "catch"

I would like to focus on fishing. I hope to have my local A team with me, otherwise I hope for kind winds. We have been getting a great east press for two weeks now. Bait inside, outside, and on the piers. Snook is closed. High tide is @ midnight. Snook and Tarpon are more tide dependent this time of year.

Live shrimp and water can be had at The Corner Store. That really is the name of the store. Southern and Olive. Rob has a Custom Coyote 31 made for runners back in the thin tie days. He`s a good ole boy, but not a smuggler.

KDW folks. I have a good source for fresh bally in Boynton.

Place orders now. The truck shows up in the afternoon, so I may be late Fri. Nice color tooooo. Fresh, from the Keys.

I`ll bring sushi and sashimi fixin`s. Maybe some mango and papaya sauce for the cookout. T`is the season, natch.

Ass...., trapped on Cape Cod.

Sandy had a guy on another forum in LWI last year - incoming - no mullet too big - 60 fish over 34" in 2.5 hrs.

The wind has been the same here, as far as the bally we have to get this High to break to get out. Good thinking as there apparently been quite a few BFT - I loved that you made in the Keys - remember I'm coming Thurs

I have called every day and left a message that was supposed to be returned by today regarding parking permits - so at this point I have no news

Fixed the outriggers and they are currently up on the boat, after a couple mini fights with an Oak and a Palm tree

Dixon-I checked on Lake Park Marina for great security and just across from Phil Foster. $25 per night though. They are having their 4th annual Father's Day Tourney so it will be a zoo. I think I am dropping in at Burt Reynolds Park and trolling down to PB inlet and back on Sunday.

As far as bonding, that would probably require a bit of swimming, and faster than you probably can - visualize a dog paddling behind a boat - nothing personal but I'm bonded out

Veggie terrine was well received. Have Weber will build.

The sushi rice is simple. 1 splash of Mirin and 1 splash of rice wine vinegar.

Might even bring some Jumbo Shrimpies to boil. Everyone should bring some kind of a side dish
with a spoon.... So we can all dig in!!!
Hopefully Mother Nature will be on our side next weekend!
My neighbor who owns the property next to Area 442, lives
in Delray and plans to come on over and join the party...
He has a Bonefisher.. I told him he would have to anchor
away from us!!! :eek: :D His wife is an awesome cook
so we may not mind him anchoring closer!! :D
