Anyone else got any info on some boats for sale?

My advice is to get off your ass and go buy one of the many Seacraft's that are available for under $8K. Half the people on this site have driven accross the country to buy one. If you can't find one in Florida, you are destined to be FISHANDFATCHICKS forever..

If you can not drive to West Palm Beach from Key West,
you might as well give up!!!!!!
I just saw 2 under $6000 in Palm Beach in the Boat Trader.
At 17 I would think you would have a license or a buddy with
a vehicle to tow a boat from there to Key West. Maybe a
4.5 hour ride up US-1 to the Turnpike to WPB.

I guess people don't understand all the crap involved in doing something like that. Gas prices, finding a person willing to do that, and all sorts of stuff. Its not as easy as you say. I don't have my liscense yet because I rid emy bike everywhere I go bbecause Key West is only a 12 mile round island. No pricey gas for me.

And you want to buy a 20SF that might get 2 miles to the gallon? Maybe you don't get-it!!
You say your budget is now $8000 !! Tell you what, send me the $8000, I will pick-up the $6000 boat in WPB and deliver
for that left over $2000. Now does that make sense to you????? Surely you can find someone down there to do-it
for alot less then that.

Make the move!!! I drove from Eastern NC to Fort Myers Beach to pick up mine. I could only wish that it was a 4.5 hour drive. Time to get the lead out and act if you are serious. :D

WHo said anything about me spending all the 8 grand. Your totally derailing my thread man. I posted this because i wanted to know about any other good sites and what not to buy a boat. I would think that i can get a seacraft with a decent motor on it for 5-8 grand. I don't have the time nor the funds or car to travela long distance for a boat. I don't have the leisure of being an adult. I have school work and more school. So stop derailing my thread please. And i apologizee to anyone who was/is offended.

Your gonna need a JOB to make the CASH to buy the GAS,OIL,ETC. to fuel the BOAT that will get the CHICKS that will want you to have a CAR that needs GAS that will take CASH to buy the GAS,INSURANCE,ETC. that will let you take the CHICKS to dinner, movies, parties, etc. You will then need an apartment or house cause you dont want to bring the chicks home to meet the parents. You will also need a place to keep the boat and that will cost more CASH. GAS costs over $3 a gallon. Outboard oil anywhere between $10 and $20.
:D
