Eliminated some more ugly yesterday. Still have to to the mid section and lower unit but the cowling was really starting to bother me. I will design some custom touches for the cowl shortly...

We have the same boat and I'm hoping to get mine done sometime this year, but life has gotten in the way.

Thanks - the main thing about the time is I have decided to put in at least an hour a day as the weather allows. Since the boat is stored right outside my shop door, I can sneak in some time whenever work flow allows it. It is amazing what you can get done in a couple of hours each day.

Yesterday, I sanded more of the deck and then got busy stripping and painting the cowling. Total time was less than two hours. Left the shop and made it home before 7pm. This is the real benefit to having it at my work. In the past, my boat storage/work yard was 20 minutes from my house and/or work. It changes everything when it is about 10 steps away...

Worked for about an hour yesterday and then about 3 more this morning. Got the cutting board/engine cover made. Then finished off the trim and face panel for the splash well. Calling it a day since I now have wet paint laying drying in the shop.

Yesterday, I completed installing the finish panels I am using to replace the carpet the factory used on the gunwales. Will do some additional sanding and prep work later today.

Top - One area that you might want to inspect/address while you're in there working is the stringer on the left side where the fuel hose routes through. I have yet to see an original 20 MA floor that hasn't cracked in this spot.
