Danny, Have you or Ken developed a head count for Long Point yet? I was just concerned if Don had enough ethanol. We're only about 5 weeks out or so, Boss
|
I have for your enjoyment, two apple pie and one cherry flavored adult refreshments. I'm hoping that will be sufficient...even with the Speedy Sandman in attendance!
|
If you see me without my Brooks on, slap the everlasting crap outta me please.
We live for this time of year. All of our friends are moving. Fish now til June. |
Brooks?

Foster Brooks? |
Is there room for a derelect without a functional boat as a day-use visitor? I understand there is an alcohol based entry fee for the pleasure of observing boats that actually float. :D
|
Absolutely, come on… there's always room for another member of the Motley Crew:D!

Roll call and contributions to the "big dance":
Please list site #, food contribution, and intended time with our motley crew. |
My schedule is looking better for making at least part of the Long Point gathering. I'm bringing the big boat up from the Caribbean the second half of April, hopefully arriving in Fort Lauderdale by April 30.
The tricky part is Hargrave (the yacht company I've been affiliated with for the past 18 years) is having their Rendezvous in Fort Lauderdale the same weekend as the Long Point gathering. Being the senior Captain with the company, my total absence from the rendezvous may not be in my best interest. But I'm thinking my son and I can run the 23WA down from Satellite Beach for a Friday overnighter. Hope to see you there! Lloyd |

Does it have a bow thruster? Can Strick play with it? Site 75. Maybe Thurs - Sunday. Not sure on the food front yet. Requests? Can Lil Kenny get a baby hog? |
Mr. Snookerd,
All present and accounted for in the DonV group!! Friday and Saturday site #79 Not sure about food, I'm more into the logistics of beverage supply. However I'll be bringing something for the stomach. Let me think...... |

Mr. England, sir, I do hereby nominate you to the rank of Flotilla Admiral. Outstanding food contribution. Way to match Mr. DonV's contributions :D. |

Sandy- We are booked for site 74 Fri and Sat.......never mind not saying the F-bomb, we have all been practicing our best version of swearing, lying, and general hell raising:D! I am thinking fish and shrimp as my food contribution. "The ocean has always been a salve to my soul...the best thing for a cut or abrasion was to go swimming in salt water. Later down the road of life, I made the discovery that salt water was also good for the mental abrasions one inevitably acquires on land." - James Buffett |
If we can rope in some fresh mahi or wahoo I will set up for rolling sushi and a new creation..... The blackend mahi rueben! If anyone wants to be in on fresh steamers again I will put a call in at the clam house the week before and pick em up.

Ken.....STOP IT, dang you!!! I'm hungry and dinner's an hour away!!!! Had one recently, actually it was grouper and man it's an absolute killer!!! Seeya

I didn`t always go to church after that Sunday, but I never came home early. It would seem that once again, food will be enjoyed. |
F-bombs
[QUOTE=gofastsandman;225809]I remember the first time I dropped it in front of my mother and older sister.[/QUOTE-
Sandy, You know plenty of other interesting ADJECTIVES , probably "tri-lingually" (who else knows about "Grinderswitch" too, except Fr. Frank and he's got really good connections!). Un-wrap the oily cloths and use the ones in your tool box you know will deliver the same message - EXPONENTIALLY, with the class becoming of one "Gofastsandman". It would be different if you were a typical Bayliner boating knucklehead, at the boat ramp, try'in to get on the trailer. Comprehende', me Amigo? Roll on, brother - I got your 6:00. Just be careful of Don V's Elixir short circuiting your bandwidth of "descriptive options". I'm in a glass house, though - so I need you to make sure I don't step in noth'in in front of the ladies and chill'in too! If I get to go Buffalo huntin' with Kmoose, meet me at the beach with a "gag", or for sure I'll step on F-bomb land mine. WTF, I'm only human!!! I'm think'in this years Long Point 2014, will be a Religious Experience. |

On the food front. Thinking some Mango and Papaya beurre blanc snnnauce for the pelagics. Great easy recipe. Ask if any would like it. And/or the grilled marinated veggie terrine I made for KL.`09. RPITA to build, but just a force of melded beauty. I`ll bring sushi mats and Nori to help the squids have some fun with Mr. Moose. Anyone have any green jeans? Who brought all of these ping pong balls and kazoos? And yes, you can float a hull with ping pong balls and kazooos. Very many of them. Cheeers, GFSSS |

I`ll make Welly again if all would like. Easy to make as long as I can steal/buy/borrow some veal stock from one of my restaurant refugee friends. Snap and I`m done. I cheated on the snauce last time...but it really is an easy prep. If so, I will need a head count. |
