Laid out and cut the bilge access, baitwell lid, and side storage box hatches.
Was a little worried about access to the bilge but plenty of room to get down inside.

Looking good. How are the deck drains going to be finished? It looks like it's PVC, will they just be glassed in to place?

Thxs. Thickened epoxy thru the bulkhead and transom areas then prolly a strip of glass or two under the deck.

Glassed some pieces for the gunnels to fasten to.
Gonna end up keeping the rear two storage compartments simple. Was gonna do the whole mold for some boxes to be glassed to bottom of deck and all, but now we decided to put a floor in straight across the stringers and glass 1/2" plywood vertically to close the box in and also help support the back deck. The port side will get about 2" of foam glued inside the box then glassed over to make a good size cooler/fishbox. The compartments measure 39"L x 24"W x 23"H. Plus it will give us easy access to the thru hulls for bilge pumps, trim tab hoses, and the scupper tubes.

It appears to be CSM (1.5oz?) on the front deck. Will there be any additional biaxial or cloth in the deck layups or is the CSM good to go?

One layer of 1708 and one layer of 1.5oz mat. The mat gives u something to sand instead of sanding ur biaxial. Shes tight and not going anywhere at all..... Both layers of glass wrap around the outside edge and bulkhead edge. Outside edge basically made a lip like the cap would do.

Your work rate is amazing. Glad your son let you outta the stern locker. Looking like a very unique rig. Considerably different than the 20 rod holder low-rider on the first page, no? Can you snap a shot of the whole rig to give us a proportional perspective? Good stuff. Carry on...

Thxs. Bout to go sand the floor so we can glass it tomorrow. I will get a whole pic n a few.

Cut and fit 2" foam in the port rear deck hatch for cooler/fishbox.
Played around with some cardboard, shaping the console.
