Check that....I need 30 inch shaft motors or I would have to replace my bracket.

Wierd, you would have to go all the way up to the 225 - 350 hp Verado to get a 30" motor. The 150 hp four cylinder would require an extension kit(s) to get to 30". That's not very sporty of Mercury :)

OK Terry #3, a standing start race between your Bertram 25 with the 115 eTecs and the Merc 150 hp Bertram!! It might take a little bit of time to get the the 1/4 mile marker, however it would be a fun challenge to see if you could drink a beer before they cross the finish line :)
