Good way to end the week! Expecting a fistful of pictures. Need some fuel for my own.

OK, so I now have everything I need to get her going. Picked up the motor last Thursday, mounted it Friday only to confirm I needed the wiring harness adapter to connect my old gauge to the new motor. My dealer ordered it Friday and I picked it up last night. I will get everything connected to the motor and then will be ready to go for a ride this evening...I hope! Wish me luck.

Git her done, Martin!

Got the adapter last Tuesday. Got everything plumbed, wired and installed. Splashed her Wednesday and ran for 2 hours. Been adhering to the recommended break in procedure. Ran her several more times over the weekend and, I must say, it handles like a dream.
The biggest advantage to me is it now will hold a steady speed at low rpms.
Planes at around 14 mph,
3000 rpm =16 mph
4000 rpm = 24 mph
5000 rpm = 32 mph
wide open not in the plan for a few more hours

Need pictures....and you have to update your signature. I used to have a Powertech 4 blade on my DF140. Will be interested to see what you end up with after break-in. Nice job.

The prop I'm running is the same one from before, 13-1/4 x 21P ss. I have to log in another 5 hours and I'll be ready to go.

Thank you! I'm really happy with the end result. I'm going to run some tape down the side where the bottom of the bootstripe was and take a picture to give a better idea of how much higher she sits in the water. I'll post it with an old pic.
