Recessed Bow Light
Has anyone installed one of the new stainless recessed bow lights on their CC yet? Wondering how large of a hole you need to drill or router.

Re: Recessed Bow Light
I put one on mine, it comes with a template and I'm guessing it's about a 2" x 3" hole. Did mine with a jigsaw, then seal the edges with epoxy.

Thanks for the heads up. I actually found that myself the other night and that's what got me thinking, in the first place. Now it's on to wiring, breakers, mast lights, bilge pumps, thru hulls, etc, etc.etc. Rich |
Re: Recessed Bow Light
I like it, I used the popup cleats and hawsers in the stern, so it makes for a clean setup all around.I had to run the wire up the tower at midship to under the gunnels and then up to the light.
