Re: 74 Scepter Potter Built For Sale $5000
I only know the 73 Seafari outboard and the 74 Tsunami i/o. Is the transom on your Sceptre original? I don't recall, on the Seafari, the motor cut-out being so wide.

Re: 74 Scepter Potter Built For Sale $5000
That's the standard transom cutout for all 23' OB's regardless of model up to the Tracker years. Not sure about '87 on though. The Seafari came in 20' and 25' models. The 20' wouldn't have had an opening that wide and I don't believe the 25' ever came in an OB config.

My 1977 Sceptre 23 looks the same too.

Re: 74 Scepter Potter Built For Sale $5000
Sorry. My mistake. No wonder I was confused, as I thought this was a 20 Scepter, which made me wonder what kind of boat owner would put 2 140hp engines on the back, with such a huge cutout.
Thanks for the quick clarification. When did Seacraft drop the Tsunami name for the Sceptre? |

That's what had me confused. He says this is a 74 Sceptre...My dad's 74 23' was called a Tsunami!

Re: 74 Scepter Potter Built For Sale $5000
There was some copywright issue that caused the name change
